Three keys to job satisfaction

Job satisfaction is a combination of 3 things

I wrote in this post on job satisfaction as a source of profit that when people are doing something they love, they work better, are more committed, and customers find them nicer to deal with.  And as well as Passion, there are two more things needed for that source of joy in work to be sustainable for them – Power (the ability to do the work really well) and Profit (the ability to get paid for doing it – d’oh!)

Job Satisfaction comes from “Whole Work”

This video explains how it all fits together far better than any words could:

Job satisfaction from blogging

For me, sharing what I believe and ways to put it into practice is what brings me joy in my work, and this platform is a great place to do that.  Surrounded by a community of people who believe the same as I do – that work is supposed to be fun and rewarding – I can express my unique Joyful Genius and, when people find me through the great visibility here and join up themselves, I can get rewarded just for sharing my knowledge.  Unlike some here, who make promoting the network a full-time job, I enjoy my coaching work way too much to ever lose focus on it completely, but commissions from new people buying the blogging platform are a nice extra income.  I can get paid for spouting my theories (and practice) on job satisfaction – my passion – not bad, eh?
